Logan might have been ranked the safest metro area in the nation yet again, but Police Chief Gary Jensen isn’t prepared to take all of the credit.

This is true, and and it is true worldwide. Very sad.

Settle down DL, the rankings are by similar 'metro' poulalations across the U.S. It doesn't mean Logan is rated against L.A. or your small, big city Dever.

Calling Logan a metro area is a colossal stretch.

@gch4hj - You are a complete dope who is probably bent over a ticket that you deserved. This is a reflection on the community as a whole, not the local L.E. agencies, which include far more than LCPD. Read the entire article. Idiot.

Sadly, I'm afraid there are a shockingly large number of rapes that go unreported.

Post in a few years when you are married with kids and a home.

Keep up the great work city and county Sheriff's officers!

The "Safety" is probably due to the fact that we are living in an over-policed community where the slightest little fender-bender will bring 4 or 5 squad cars with blinding lights flashing to make sure that if you have done anything wrong, you are screwed. Way too many cops in this town.
