Melissa is the daughter of Dave and Sherri Dorius of Lewiston, Utah. She grew up on a small farm in Lewiston, Utah, and consequently likes outdoor activities ÿ water skiing, snowmobiling and camping. She is a 1998 graduate of Sky View High School. During her senior year she served on the Smithfield LDS Seminary Council.

Troy is the son of Vernon and Jean Marie Anderson of Vernal, Utah. He grew up in Vernal, Utah and also loves the outdoors ÿ camping, fishing and snow skiing. He is an Eagle Scout and a 1994 graduate of Uintah High School. He served an LDS mission in Mexico City. He is majoring in pre-physical therapy at USU.

David is a 1998 graduate of Sky View High School and LDS seminary. At the age of eight he became Utah's youngest black belt in Tae Kwon Do. David was active in scouting and received his Eagle Scout in 1996. He attended USU and is employed at The Herald Journal as an advertising sales representative.

She is working on her masters in corporate wellness at USU and will be the Student Director of USU's Wellness Lab for the 2000-2001 school year.

Chris is a 1996 graduate of West Side High School and LDS seminary, where he was active in varsity football, basketball and track and field, show choir and LDS seminary council. He served an LDS mission in Leeds, England. He is attending USU, majoring in exercise science and is employed by Cache Valley Officials.

The bride graduated from Sky View High School in 1997. She is a senior at Utah State University, majoring in exercise science with plans to go to physical therapy school.

The groom graduated from Sky View High School in 1997. He served a French speaking LDS mission in Madagascar. He is attending USU as a sophomore.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Preston High School. She has recently completed one year at Idaho State University.

The groom is a 1994 graduate of Preston High School. He served an LDS mission in San Antonio, Tex. He graduated from Ricks College with an associate degree and is attending Utah State University.

Jenny is the daughter of Carl and Judy Cobia of Honeyville. She is a 1997 graduate of Box Elder High School and is a senior at Utah State University, majoring in dietetics.

Lance is the son of Paul and Mary Byrd of Spanish Fork and Del and Rebecca Brady of Vernal. He is 1994 graduate of Uintah High School and is employed as a pilot for Sky West Airlines.

Regen-Andrew

Deborah Leigh Regen and Lucas Paul Andrew are happy to announce their marriage for time and all eternity on Friday, Aug. 18, 2000. They will be married in the Logan LDS temple. Deborah is a 1998 graduate of Sky View High School. She has attended USU and hopes to return again next fall. Deborah is employed by Moore's.

Luke is a 1995 graduate of Sky View High School, where he was active in Debate. Luke served an LDS mission to Poland from 1996 to 1998. He is attending USU and is anticipating a degree in mechanical engineering. Luke is presently employed at Convergy's.

In March of this year the friendship began. On March 18, the two headed up to Beaver Mountain for an evening of fun. Luke was snow boarding and Deborah was using snow blades. Both were having an enjoyable evening and decided to go off a few jumps together. After Deborah went off one jump, she encountered a life changing event-she broke her right leg! Luke's first introduction to her parents was at the emergency room. Over the next few months the couple grew more fond of each other and fell in love. We are please to announce that both the leg and the relationship are strong and healthy. Little did they know five months to the day that they would be married for eternity. After the wedding the couple will reside in Logan.

Brindley-Nilsson

Maia Carol Brindley and Magnus Harald Nilsson were married July 8, 2000 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Logan. Pastor Barry Neese officiated at the double ring ceremony. A formal dinner and dance reception was held immediately following at the Old Rock Church, Providence, Utah.

The bride's gown was fashioned of imported Belgium lace embroidered in metallic gold thread and bridal satin. A full length veil complimented the gown.

Parents of the couple are William A. and Vivian Brindley of Logan and Stig and Ingegerd Nilsson of Helsingborg, Sweden.

The bride graduated with a Bachelors of Science in interior design from Utah State University; MS in historic preservation, and Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon, Eugene, Ore.

The groom graduated with a Bachelors of Science in economics, Lund University, Lund, Sweden; Master of Architecture, University of Oregon, Eugene, Ore.

The groom is a graduate of Mountain Crest High School and Utah State University. He received a B.S. in electrical engineering. He served in the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia mission. He is employed at Icon Health and Fitness as Electronics Hardware Design Engineer.

Thorne-Curits

Mr. and Mrs. Steven Thorne of North Logan are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Elizabeth to Cameron Curtis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Curtis of Logan, and Wendy Curtis of Fairfield, Calif.

Cameron and Elizabeth will join their hands in marriage on Aug. 18, 2000 and following the ceremony there will be a dinner held in their honor. There will also be an open house held for friends and relatives on Wednesday Aug. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of the bride's grandparents, 889 E. 2500 North, North Logan.

Cameron is a graduate of Sky View High. Following high school he went on an LDS mission to Taipei, Taiwan and enjoyed it so much that he has returned three times since his mission to visit and enjoy the culture. In 1998, Cameron graduated from Utah State with a BA in accounting and has been working at Wasatch Property Management since then.

After Elizabeth graduated from Sky View High School. She spent the summer working in Oklahoma City. Since her return she has been attending Utah State University and is a Junior in liberal arts. She is working as a professional photographer at Foto Studio and plans to someday own a studio of her own. She is looking forward to traveling the world with a backpack, toothbrush and her new husband.

After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, Cameron and Elizabeth plan to reside in Logan.
